Forklift Operator
As a Forklift Operator in the food industry, you are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within our facility. Your role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods. You play a critical role in maintaining warehouse operations, supporting production, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials.

Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, ingredients, and finished products using forklifts and other equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, storage, and organization.
- Order Picking: Retrieve materials and products from designated storage areas to fulfill production and shipping orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and products for damage or discrepancies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic warehouse environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material movements and equipment usage.
- Inventory Replenishment: Restock materials and products as needed to prevent shortages.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment and tools, including forklifts.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in production, warehouse, and logistics to support material handling efforts and contribute to the overall success of our food manufacturing facility.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
