As a Forklift Operator in the alcohol industry, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment within our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Your role involves moving materials, ingredients, and finished products, ensuring their proper storage, handling, and transportation. Your expertise in forklift operation is vital to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials, ingredients, and finished products within the facility.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and products to designated locations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, storage, and organization to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material movements, including receipts, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Product Handling: Safely handle and transfer finished products within the facility.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in production, quality control, and warehouse to support material handling needs and contribute to the overall success of our alcohol manufacturing facility

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift certification and previous experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling practices.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
  • Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
