Responsibilities

  • Receiving: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of food products and materials, verifying accuracy and quality.
  • Storage: Safely and efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Inventory Counts: Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to maintain accuracy.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Compare physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assist with the fulfillment of production orders by ensuring the availability of materials.
  • Inventory Reporting: Prepare inventory reports and summaries for management and production teams.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality during receiving and report any deviations or defects.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments.
  • Inventory Disposal: Identify and manage disposal of expired or damaged inventory in accordance with regulations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic warehouse environment.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Coordinator or in a related role, preferably in the food or logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in inventory management practices and software.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control.
  • Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
