Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup: Prepare and set up production machinery before each manufacturing run.
  • Machine Operation: Operate equipment efficiently, monitoring production processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with equipment repairs and changeovers.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and quality checks.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient and packaging material levels, reporting shortages as needed.
  • Cleaning: Ensure machinery and work areas are kept clean and hygienic.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including production line workers, to ensure the smooth operation of the production process and contribute to the overall success of our food manufacturing facility.
     

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing or similar environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting production machinery.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards.
