Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

- Repairs: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with other departments as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that equipment and maintenance activities comply with safety guidelines and regulations.
- Spare Parts: Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment components.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Hygiene Practices: Follow personal hygiene practices and wear appropriate protective gear during maintenance tasks.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment emergencies to minimize disruptions in production.
- Equipment Installation: Assist with equipment installation, setup, and adjustments as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in production, sanitation, and quality control to support maintenance efforts and contribute to the overall success of our food processing facility.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related role, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of food processing equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
