Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that equipment and maintenance activities comply with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Spare Parts: Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment components.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
  • Hygiene Practices: Follow personal hygiene practices and wear appropriate protective gear during maintenance tasks.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment emergencies to minimize disruptions in production.
  • Equipment Installation: Assist with equipment installation, setup, and adjustments as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in production, sanitation, and quality control to support maintenance efforts and contribute to the overall success of our food processing facility.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related role, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in maintenance and repair of food processing equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
