Responsibilities

  • Packaging Design: Create visually appealing and functional packaging designs that align with brand identity and consumer expectations.
  • Conceptualization: Develop innovative packaging concepts that enhance product presentation and appeal.
  • Graphics and Branding: Design graphics, logos, and branding elements for packaging.
  • Materials and Sustainability: Select appropriate packaging materials and consider sustainability and eco-friendly options.
  • Mockups and Prototypes: Create physical prototypes and mockups to assess design feasibility.
  • Print Production: Prepare design files for print production, ensuring color accuracy and quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and production teams to align packaging with product attributes.
  • Consumer Research: Stay informed about consumer trends and preferences in packaging design.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure packaging designs adhere to cosmetic industry regulations and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that printed packaging meets design specifications and quality standards.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Packaging Designer, preferably in cosmetics or consumer goods.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools.
  • Creative thinking and a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design projects.
  • Strong understanding of brand identity and consumer preferences.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adherence to design trends and industry best practices.
