Packaging Operator

Responsibilities
- Packaging Setup: Prepare and set up packaging machinery before each production run.
- Machine Operation: Operate packaging equipment efficiently, monitoring the process for quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of packaged products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Packaging Materials: Load packaging materials, such as labels, films, and containers, onto the machinery.
- Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on packaging equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Labeling: Ensure accurate labeling and coding of packaged products.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packaging data, including quantities produced and any deviations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor packaging material levels and report shortages as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in production and quality control to ensure the smooth operation of the packaging process and contribute to the overall success of our food manufacturing facility.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Packaging Operator or in a related role, preferably in the food industry.
- Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow packaging instructions accurately.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards.
