Responsibilities

  • Packaging Setup: Prepare and set up packaging machinery for each production run.
  • Machine Operation: Operate packaging equipment efficiently, monitoring the process for quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of packaged products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Packaging Materials: Load packaging materials, such as labels, caps, and cartons, onto the machinery.
  • Maintenance Assistance: Assist with basic maintenance tasks on packaging equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
  • Labeling: Ensure accurate labeling and coding of packaged products.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packaging data, including quantities produced and quality checks.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor packaging material levels and report shortages as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic work environment.
  • Product Handling: Safely handle and transport finished products within the facility.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Packaging Operator or in a related role, preferably in the alcohol or beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and equipment.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail and precision in packaging processes.
  • Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
