As a Quality Control Inspector in the food industry, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our food products meet strict quality and safety standards. Your role involves conducting inspections, tests, and checks at various stages of the production process to identify and prevent defects or deviations from quality specifications.

Responsibilities
- Quality Inspections: Conduct visual, sensory, and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Testing: Perform quality tests, such as measuring dimensions, weights, and product attributes, and document results.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspection and testing activities, including deviations and corrective actions.
- Sampling: Collect samples for laboratory analysis when required and ensure proper labeling and handling.
- Defect Identification: Identify and document any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
- Compliance: Verify that products adhere to food safety regulations, quality specifications, and labeling requirements.
- Calibration: Ensure that measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute quality reports and summaries to management and production teams.
- Hygiene and Safety: Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a secure and sanitary work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and other departments to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the food industry or a related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of quality control methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
