Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate in the food industry, you play a critical role in the efficient and organized storage and distribution of food products. Your responsibilities encompass various warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products to meet customer orders and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Receiving: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of food products and materials.
- Storage: Safely and efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Order Picking: Accurately pick products from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Packaging: Prepare and pack orders for shipping, ensuring products are appropriately labeled and packaged for safe delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular counts and reconciliations.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections to verify that products meet quality and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, order processing, and quality checks.
- Shipping: Prepare shipments for dispatch, coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic warehouse environment.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment and tools, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if required).
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a related role, preferably in the food or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and equipment, including forklift operation if required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards.
